Hello everyone!
Apologies if this has been asked before, but I was just confronted with this question and I realized that for all my reading, this has been an assumed piece of information of mine:
How generally salient is knowledge of the Wall of the Faithless among the people of Toril, or more specifically, Faerun? Is this something that most people have heard about from their local Myrkulite Gravetender and then later, their local Kelemvorite Priest? Or is this something that most people are not aware of? Is it as salient as, say, the idea of Hell is to people in the US?
Thanks!

Mask of the Betrayer implies that the Wall isn't even known to Kelemvor's priests, which Myrkul uses to mock Kaelyn. |

I cannot (intelligently) speak specifically about the Wall. That said, the common folk of Faerun understand they ignore the pantheon at their own risk, in this life and the next. |
