The latest (and probably last installment) of the 'Wyrms of the North' article has been uploaded to the FR site.

It can be found here.

Eagerly I clicked on thy link... but the site appears to be down! ;_;

Edit: Okay, about 20 minutes later, the site was good again.

How sad... Another nice web feature ends...

It's back up Wooly. So unlike WOTC to have a new page go down like that.

Are you kidding? WotC is well known for their quality and customer appretiation.

The Chosen of Vhaeraun
"Nature is governed by certain immutable rules. By virtue of claw and fang, the lion will always triumph over the goat.Given time, the pounding of the sea will wear away the stone. And when dark elves mingle with the lighter races, the offspring invariably take after the dark parent. It is all much the same. That which is greater shall prevail. Our numbers increase steadily, both through birth and conquest. The dark elves are the dominant race, so ordained by the gods." Ka'Narlist of the Ilythiiri.

Yeah, I was just saying that on their boards, but I think I put the word novel in the post and the thread was deleted.

You spoke the forbidden word over there? For shame!

Does anyone have any special details about the future of this column on the FR site. Are all the articles going to be collected into a downloadable PDF like some here have speculated, or are newer dragons going to be created expressly for this feature?.

Lady as always thank you for giving us the link.I don't know the answer to your question though.I was saying on another thread that I think that they should keep the dragon threads going.Especially with Richards trilogy coming out,and what will hopefully be a boost in popularity for dragons. Not to say that their popularity is diminished. But wait!!!That's what fans want.So IMO,the dragons thread is as good as gone.Hopefully I eat my words.

I certainly hope that's not the case, but strangely, we've heard nothing from WotC on this. Even on the Message Boards, where they first discussed about the prospect of making a PDF download of the Elminster Speaks article (among others), nothing has been said .

I suspect the Dragon articles will be retired.

Apparently Ed has a Years worth of Backlogged material for the FR site so we may start seeing more of Eds articles now that WOTN series has finished

More Realmslore articles by Mr. Greenwood himself. Well, that's a great trade-off .

Maybe it's a feature that we should continue here at Candlekeep. With note-worthy scribes like Faraer and George Krashos, our collective exposure to Realmslore has never been greater.

We could assign a particular type of theme for the 'dragon' article, like the WotN articles, and then spend the month putting the write-up and stats together.

Something to think about . . .

How about "Dragons of the East"

ie Dragons in the Dalelands, the Vast, the Cold lands and Unapproachable east, Moonsea etc

Well, that's a start. How about we gather some notes together and propose a few directions. There's a new months coming, so that will give us roughly four weeks to create something.

'Dragons of the East' is a definite possibility, and since it covers a broader landscape, there's more potential for very unique Wyrms.

I think the main thing we have to think about is whether everyone who wants to be involved has the Draconomicon tome?.

That's great.

I've started a separate topic in the Sages of Realmslore section, so post your ideas there.
