Haven't seen any posts from him in a long time. He seems to have just disappeared one day. :'( He was very active before that and really knowledgeable.

Does anyone know what happened to him? Is he ok?

Don't know, don't know. Beasty's a good guy.

But we all take breaks sometimes. Real life, kith and kin and clan stuff, status at work or school, and even lack of access to a working computer can interfere with our studies at the keep at any time. Dedicated scribes have an alarming tendency to keep returning to this place of succor after even the longest of unexplained absences, lol.

Agreed. I have lurked for quite some time before my abrupt, and odd, return to the Keep. Gathering lore from... other worlds as it were.

Sages come and go, and their activity levels rise and fall. Hopefully BEAST will return soon.

I took a three year absence from this place. I popped in now and then. It happens. Old Sage took a leave of absence, came back, and looks like he is wandering around again. Sweet water and light laughter as the elves would say...

"These things also I have observed: that knowledge of our world is
to be nurtured like a precious flower, for it is the most precious
thing we have. Wherefore guard the word written and heed
words unwritten and set them down ere they fade . . . Learn
then, well, the arts of reading, writing, and listening true, and they
will lead you to the greatest art of all: understanding."

Very much so, Brimstone. There are a great many sages that come and go, many are missed, while others are a relief to see gone (that's the category I fit into!).

I think the last post I saw of his was made on December 10th so it's been less than 2 months.

THO has been longer posting something. That should be a bigger issue for sages.

It's always good to see some old names appear in these halls, even if they came and go with long breaks in between.

For some of us, the real world has eaten up time for even basic reading of these threads.
