Hail!

When not acting as steward of my own little alternate reality pocket dimension, I am Tyros ... born to a hard life on the streets of Calaunt to an ale-wench, and bred as a warrior by virtue of the kind Lord Orgauth of Zhentil Keep. I served as a desert-scout with the Zhentilar for a number of years until, well, its a long story. Anyway, I am better known as one the discovers of the Library of Alvander in Tasseldale, and as one of the survivors of the expedition that was sent to reclaim the long fallen House of Toil and Sweat (Sembian/Gondian Alcatraz). Prior to the destruction of Ordulin's Six Candles Inn (not too mention our hastey retreat from Sembia) I was also co-owner of that fine establishment.

I am here as a friend of the, errrrrr, "tomb-raider, historian, and archeologist extrordinaire" Corwin of Arabel ... who is still trying to put together an expedition into the Great Waste, the Anauroch.

Frith!

Yes, welcome to Candlekeep, and may your knowledge come clearly to your mind.

Tries to cast a spell, and a desk appears. Hey! It worked! Goes to lean against the desk, and falls through the intangible image. Well, Crap...

Hi Jamey, welcome to Candlekeep. I've enjoyed reading your posts on the Realms-L list, and am looking forward to your contributions here. Just out of curiosity, what is "Frith!"?

Thanks for the compliment! The word frith is an old Anglo-Saxon (and general Teutonic) word that means a combination of "peace" and "prosperity" and "kindness" and "teamwork" ... maybe "harmonious prosperity".

Frith!
