The House of Serpents trilogy is one of the major story arcs I've been eagerly anticipating for this year (of course, it being about the Yuan-Ti helps as well  ). And judging from the sample chapter, Lisa Smedman has made that anticipating, worthwhile...

| I just finished this novel last night. I enjoyed it and am eager to see where Lisa Smedman takes this story next. For anyone intersted in intrigue, various groups plotting, Hlondeth, the yuan-ti, or a main character who could have fit right into the rogue series, this novel is for you. |

I can all but second that statement. It would indeed fit nicely into the Rouges Series. Anyhow, I enjoyed reading it myself as well and am into reading the second in the trilogy already - Vipers Kiss!
