I'd be very interested in reading your story set within Faerun's future. What's the story's focus? |

Basically, it concerns a formation of a bardic university that tries to keep up with a changing Faerun...I'll ask Alaundo if I can post the first four chapters in the next update... |
My latest Realms-based short story, about a bard, a paladin of Lathander and the letter of the law, Debts Repaid. It takes place before the "shattering" and gives the bard Arion a last gasp before he plunges into the present.http://candlekeep.com/campaign/logs/log-debts.htm |

Well met
Ahhh, Arion Elenim. 'tis indeed good to hear that you have been penning such scrolls for your final tome. I will certainly take a good moment to read your work if you would kindly send this on to me, i've been waiting to read this for some time now
Quick now, there are a number of new scrolls almost ready to be released to the ever-hungry Realmslore hunters herein , so i'll be sure to include the first parts of your tome as part of this next batch.
Thank ye. |

The whole world has been enslaved by the Shades. 1873
Drow alignment shifts to lawful neutral and this sparks an alliance with the other elves who will defeat the Shade but also spells extinction for the elven race as a whole.
Then speed up the time to 2373 again and humans are the dominant race in all of Faerun and humanoids/magical creatures are a rare sight(elves dont exist anymore alongside dragons and most creatures). Everything is stable and an elderly man tells his grandchildrens about the ancient war that freed them from the grips of the Shades by the elves and how they had to sacrifice their all of their lives to save Faerun from damnation. The childrens don't believe their grandpa but when they go out and play, they see a shadow cloud rising over the horizon and a elf armed with a bow who glanced at the kids and then back to the shadowy cloud and yells a warcry.
haha.
