Hello all, I am in search of information on Mythal's specifically War Mythal's that are mentioned during the Crown War's. Myself and some friends are playing a campaign set during those ancient times. Thank you in advance for your replies and your time.

Where are "war mythals" mentioned in the realmslore for the Crown Wars?

I don't believe they've ever turned up in official Realmslore but they're mentioned many times by Paul Simpson, an australian artist and writer who used to post here under the name Snowblood.

Some of his work can be found in the Traveler's Notebooks section of this site.

Perhaps this is a reference to Fhoeldin durr (the Waymeet), described in The Last Mythal series as a "war-mythal" created by high mages of Ayvandaar, that could "break kingdoms and erase armies".

I did wonder if something was in The Last Mythal but that's a series I don't own.

That is correct, it was mentioned in The Last Mythal series, I was looking to see if anyone had ever created stats for War Mythals.

Thanks

Well, like I said, Snowblood did but it's not canon.

Lost Empires of Faerun, take a look at the Epic spell seed and how to create a mythal. Think of creating a temporary mythal that hangs destructive magic (similar to Evereskas Mythal). I would also increase spellcraft cost for reduced casting speed and/or increased range as able.
I've used this in my Crown War campaigns and it can destroy armies or cities.

Also, the Vyshaantyr created epic magic robes for highmages to wear which gave them up to +30 spellcraft. They also possessed Mithraines Ring. Just some things I added.
