Judging by the dates in the comments, they were posted in 2011 and 2007, so my guess would be something in the DDI (online) and for 4th edition. I don't know of any database that lists the articles for the online mag.

The first is the cover art for Martial Power 2. I would assume it's in that book, but I do not have it.
The second one is a bit odd... It comes up on WotC's gallery page for images from Champions of Valor, but I've been thru that book three times, and it's not there. It's also not in the web enhancement for that same book.
