Anybody know the best book to get that's got some Nelanther info in it? There's a whole book on the Sea of Fallen Stars pirate isles, but I'm having trouble finding anything about Nelanther.

Well it depends.
There are two FR 2e tomes that detail the Inner Sea region in some way or fashion. They are Pirates of the Fallen Stars (which is the one I believe you are referring to), and Sea of Fallen Stars. Both have about the same amount of information regarding the Nelanther Isles, although I believe the second tome talks more at length on the actual isles themselves (individually) and not just the pirate bands that make there home there.

Go here and download the free Lands of Intrigue box set. It has some info on those isles.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

The above is the reference with the most detailed information on the islands. There is also some in the 3e FRCS, but that is no longer fully compatible with what Steven Schend & Co initially created in the LOI set. |
