Erg,

I don't intend to go anywhere. All of my FR novels remain in print and I enjoy discussing them with folks here at the Keep.

Wow thats really devastating news. Its been a pleasure reading your cale novels and its terrible there will be no more. I was looking forward to the next series more than any other upcoming from the realms library. In my opinion you were the best writer in the wizards stable and i will miss your work and characters greatly. The fact we wont be seeing Elaine's reclamation and now this is a huge double blow for me as a long time realms fan.

All the best in your future endeavours i will keep an eye out for your other novels.

I dont know if Paul is still coming around.

I got Crosscurrent today. I was wondering if it's a stand alone novel or part of a larger series?

As I recall, the write-up for Crosscurrent in the latest Star Wars Insider tells us that it is a stand-alone novel.

Thanks. I was thinking that, yet I wanted to be sure.

In the back of Realms of the Dead, I saw an advertisement for Cycle of Night. I guess Cale's son was going to be a Paladin. Yet alas we will never know.

Paul, congratulations on your upcoming Golarion novel! I'm sure that more than a few Paizo customers are now cheering because you're one of the authors who will be writing fiction for their favorite setting!

Wow! I missed that somehow. This is as excited as I have ever been for a FR novel since , Reclamation was announced(and had the same amount of sadness afterwords, thank goodness this situation worked out!)

Paul, how are the release dates affected? Pushed back a bit or were you far enough along to hold to that?

Trade paperback or MM? Also wondering about eBook? I am seriously debating on going with a book reader of some type, and this trilogy(I guess that may be an assumption...I only read where you said Godborn was back on, and didn't see any comments about the other two books) could help me decide which way to go if it is immediately available as an eBook.
The only worry I have with that is I do not know if the writer is compensated the same for printed or e form. I would not want to cut $ from my favorite authors!

Wow this is the best news. I was so disappointed when they cancelled this. Now im stoked to hear its game on again. The Cale novels are my favourite realms books. I think Paul is the best character developer and I cant wait to see how the story moves foward. I hate when stories go unresolved and couldnt belive it when we lost Godborn and reclamation so close together. Im so happy its all been worked out. Fantastic news!

All,

I appreciate the enthusiasm and share it. :-)

I'm not sure about release dates yet, but I imagine they'll be pushed back from the original dates. Format will be mmpb and I assume they will be available as e-books, too.

This is great news! This is the series that I was most looking forward to! Vasen sounds like a very interesting character. Congrats Paul!

Paul, I cannot describe how happy I am that Godborn will be published! The cancelation really made me lose interest in the realms for a while.

Are the other 2 of 3 Vasen books also confirmed?

I have Amazon's Kindle app on my Iphone...it's not ideal, but you can read in a pinch!

I'm presently attempting work on an application that derives a little of the e-book reader software I've worked into SageOS, for my SagePhone. It's still in the preliminary stages of development, though.
