I really liked the Harpers "redesign" in 4E, where they're a little more Batman, a little less ... Harper-y. I haven't made my way up to any 4E stuff yet. Do they feature much in the 4E books? I know that a lot LOT of 2E/3E fiction, while not under the "Harper" banner, still featured a character who was a Harper, even if in a small role.

I've read almost all 4E books, with the exception of 2 "The Wilds" books and Sandstorm, and the Harpers are practically non-existant.

The only books that I recall featuring Harpers are:
- The Brimstone Angels series (including The Sundering book The Adversary) by Erin M Evans. I really like this series.
- Cold Steel and Secrets, a series of 4 novellas written by Rosemary Jones. Only available as an e-book and they were pretty pricy back when I bought them. I like the story even though it was short.
- The Sage of Shadowdale series by Ed Greenwood might have mention of Harpers, but I can't be certain.

Other than those, I can't really think of any other 4E books with Harpers.

Yeah the Harpers have been greatly reduced in numbers and have to act a bit more like a secret organisation and do less outright meddling.
This in my opinion is a good thing and I am looking forward to reading more about them.

Oh, very nice that we have confirmation of other non-Sundering books from authors besides RAS. And with hardcover treatment too.

Only bad thing is having to wait so long to get to read it. :(

Oh, huh. I thought I posted this, but your comment reminded me I haven't.

The books are still spaced out quite a bit. But this is under a year between books for me. I can't go any faster! :)
