So 5e stuff is sort of flooding the main chat forum, I would like to make a request for a subforum, that handles speculation and news dealing with 5e. AS more and more news comes forth, I have a feeling it will flood the forum, and possibly devour other content or questions dealing with other eras of our beloved Realms.

I'm going to say it's not needed, we never needed one for 3e or 4e. :) |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I would concur Kuje...as it will eventually pass, just as it did with the previous edition changes. Moreover, it is only a few scribes who are creating the "new" 5e transition topics regularly. |

Kuje has the right of it.
We've had this discussion previously when both 3e and 4e were initially, and respectively, announced, and info started floating through the ether to rest here at Candlekeep.
Personally, I don't really see the need for it. I'd only ask that any specific 5e-based discussions that are penned into a particular opening post of the scroll, include the "5e" identifier in the title to act as notification for those scribes who either don't wish any particular info about the upcoming Realms to be spoiled, or wish to avoid it altogether.
It's a simple, and yet courteous decision, I think. |

Also, there are so many (overlapping and redundant) sub-forums here already.
If anything, they should be reduced in number not increased.
