I was looking at the Elaine Cunningham anthology, which I hadn`t read in years, and in the Knights of Samular story, she mentions Reclamation as the last novel in Song and Swords, which I recently finished (don`t know why I had not gotten to it until now, considering I have read Evermeet and the Starlight and Shadows). I did not know there was a 6th book to Song and Swords, so I went to look for it on Amazon and...I can`t find it. Does anyone know where I can find it, and if it is even available?

Does anyone know exactly why this novel was cancelled? Elaine seems to have a pretty solid Realms fan base and I would assume her books sell well in this market. |

I can't speak for Elaine, but as I understand it, she found that the story wasn't coming together as she was writing, and she opted to call off the project, rather than put out something that was wrong.
Totally the right call in that situation, btw, speaking as a professional writer myself.

Thanks everyone. I wasn't here in 2008, so I did not know about that post, but yes, it makes sense. |
