The day (some claim invented by Hallmark, but that's just a myth) for hearts, flowers, the occasional piece of sparkly jewelry, and boxes of fattening chocolates to one's significant other (or prospect for same)? Celebrated the world over by lovesick fools, and detested by lonely introverts? THAT Valentine's??? It's a candy-coated, rose-scented, chocolate-dipped red-and-pink holiday of cards, red roses, heart-shaped boxes, and marriage proposals.... Y'know, a day for LOVE!!!! |
