So my PCs will become various types of "divine" beings. Problem is the Sphere or Portfolio portion for some that I am having a tough time coming up with ideas for (I want to have some good ones to pitch to my PCs which fit the realms before agreeing on one with them). I will write down below the info for each PC for this, and if anyone can help fill in any blanks (I will put in caps) or add to anything, that would be helpful
Voulge (warforged runepriest) - demigod becoming a god - sphere is Living Consructs - Dominion ANY SUGGESTIONS?? - Priests are called Rune-Structors?? (ANYTHING BETTER??)
Ash (Avenger Chosen of Kelemvor) - to become Exarch of Kelemvor - SPHERE (BANE OF UNDEAD? I DUNNO HE FIGHTS UNDEAD WITH RADIANT POWER - Priests called maybe Undead Hunters??
Eramus (Blackguard Chosen of Kelemvor - to become Exarch of Kelemvor - SPHERE (SOMETHING WITH SHADOW?? HE FIGHTS UNDEAD WITH NECROTIC POWER KIND OF LIKE FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE, DIFFERENT APPROACH FROM ASH) - Priests are called I DONT KNOW
Dirty Pig (don't ask - Dwarf Sorcerer Emergent Primordial - to become Primordial of Cold) - Sphere Cold - Dominion Elemental Chaos somewhere - Priests are called FROSTERS or ANY SUGGESTIONS??
If more info is required, please feel free to ask.
Thanks!

Voulge I would expand to cover all constructs, not just living ones, and any intelligent, inanimate objects -- like intelligent magical weapons. Call the priests Crafters, or Runecrafters, or something like that.
The other three sound like they'd be stepping on the toes of existing deities, like Lathander (he is almost as seriously against undead as Kelemvor, and his priests have significant advantages when turning undead) or Auril. |

I agree with Wooly in terms of Voulge's Sphere coverage. Expand to include both intentionally created artificial constructs, and those created by accidental arcane means as well.
Calling the priests Runestructors is a little too complex. I'd suggest either the aforementioned Runecrafters, or Runeweavers [emphasising the arcane aspect], or Runeshapers [emphasising the more artificial aspect of the craft]. |

Ash and Eramus can share some kind of bitheistic divinity. That is, they could each form a complementary part of a greater divine entity. In game terms this means they might each have less power when apart, and synergize each other into something greater than both when together. These two faces of death seem like good fluff for representing "balance" or "neutrality". Priests called Ash Reapers or Purifiers (who cleanse souls by burning away mortality and impurities of the flesh?), and Dark Reapers (who are forbidden to name their god to outsiders, because uttering his name always brings death or requires a sacrificial death?). It's all just fluff, but will be important to your players.

I definitely like the idea of Voulge. His followers could be intelligent weapons. Lorey, the intelligent sai that one of my NPC's has, would definitely love him. For an odd twist, simulacrums whose masters have died could worship him (especially a simulacrum of a priest). |

Thanks for all the ideas. I'll make Voulges sphere more inclusive and his priests I like those priest ideas Ayrik. |

Which edition are we talking, Alisttair?
If we're talking 3.5 Edition domains, I'd give them the following...
Voulge: Craft, Metal, Strength, Protection (plus any alignment domains that match said character's alignment as a deity).
Ash: Destruction, Law, Repose, War
Eramus: Death, Evil, Law, Trickery, War
Dirty Pig: Air, Cold, Water.
Any more details matching their personality, tactics or other aspects of said deities would help.
Concerning priest names, I would suggest he following. Voulge: Constructichord, Buildmaster, Mouldbreaker. Erasmus: Deathbane, Dreadwalker, Deathhunter. Eramus: Dreadfighter, Deathbreaker, Scourgecrusher. Dirty Pig: Coldbringer, Frostmaster/Frostmistress, Chillwarden. |

Rūnuminators? Runecogs? Automatrix?
Peacekeepers, Eternalists, Rewarders
Harrower, Deathculler, Eviscerator
Iceolytes, Friomancers, Frosturians
I have to ask - What do they do for an encore? Become Overgods?
Edit: Why would a primordial have domains? They don't grant spells. (AFAIK) |

They are fullfiling their epic destinies (from 4E rules), so when the campaign is done they will retire in those positions.
Actually for the primordial it's a sphere, like the others (Akadi, Kossuth, etc...) from the FRCG 4E.
Pig will be like the primal opposite of Auril |

4E but I would like some 3.5E ideas as well to make it all compatible.
Personality, Ash has the single minded focus. In battle he seeks out a single foe (preferably the most potent undead present if there is one) and carelessly hunts it down.
Voulge, well personality there isn't much, but think War Machine, he is decked out with all kinds of warforged components (he is a weapon of destruction for the most part).
Dirty Pig is a gourmet chef, he used to be a Druid from the High Forest, descended from dwarves of the Wailing Dwarf, and has become a Cosmic Sorcerer who has an affinity for cold (helps keep his food frozen for later meals lol).
Eramus is Arnold Schwarzennegar |

I would never eat anything prepared by a gourmet chef named Dirty Pig.
