I don't know how these things are worked out, but are we going to have a scroll for Erin Evans? Not sure if she's already here, or interested in opening herself up to our unending lines of questioning, but not seeing her in the Chamber of Sages seems conspicuous as we start getting more hints about 5e. Just wonderin.

When Erin's first Realms novel was published, I did send her an email asking her whether she'd like a scroll opened here. I repeated that request again nearly 12 months later... but I've yet to receive a response to either.

Ah, okay. Well, I can certainly understand authors being busy, and/or valuing their time. I'm not sure I could do what a lot of authors here do, if I were in their shoes.

I didn't mean to accuse you of snoozin on the job, Sage.

She does post on the WotC Novel Book club. Not much but she does post there...

"These things also I have observed: that knowledge of our world is
to be nurtured like a precious flower, for it is the most precious
thing we have. Wherefore guard the word written and heed
words unwritten and set them down ere they fade . . . Learn
then, well, the arts of reading, writing, and listening true, and they
will lead you to the greatest art of all: understanding."

She was at the Candlekeep seminar, with a very cute little one one her lap......so it's a wonder she has time for writing at all!

No worries, xaeyruudh. You've been here long enough to know and appreciate my mastery of the intricacies of SageTime. *wink*

You did? I never got the emails! I'd Love a scroll. I just assumed there wasn't an interest since I was so new.

It's more than likely my fault, and that my request-email was deemed as junk by your account. When I sent the request, it was from an alternative account of my own -- so you might not have realised what the message was about. I probably should've sent another from my more active account.

Ah, well. You've got a scroll now... That's all that matters!

When in doubt, blame the Sage. It's a policy that has worked well for me, for a few years now.

...Though it really left my boss wondering, that one time...
