Hello all,
I've been visiting Candlekeep for years now, and never thought of registering here (silly me).
That is, until I saw a post by a suspiciously familiar "Marco Volo"... so I did register in order for him not to feel too lonely here (tried to register as Khelben but the name was (surprisingly ) already taken.
I translated a few FR products into French and am currently working on a French version of the "City of Splendors" boxed set. And I wish to thank the people who set up this incredibly useful site (not sure they're still around, but thanks anyway !)

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

Same here, so we should get along!
And I'll be sure to ask if any question comes up (most of my current questioning is about the French translation of FR names, so I doubt anybody here could help - but even in English, one does from time to time come across inconsistencies or unknown terms, places, items or powers...)
As for sharing my translations, you'll have to check with WotC first, since they own the rights. I did that mainly for my own (and my friends') use, no profit intended, but even so, I'd rather not cross anyone at WotC by spreading unauthorized documents.
Not to mention this is an English-speaking forum so who'd have any use for translations? |

Though we are an English-speaking forum, your own presence proves that we have speakers of other languages here. And from what I've seen in prior comments, there's a lot of stuff that never gets an official translation, leaving non-English-speakers high and dry. |

Good eye...I often forget to consider law when it comes to the written word. Not that I'm a criminal, I just wish everyone of every language could enjoy anything written! |
