Professor Muhammad Abd-al-Rahman (MAR) Barker, creator of Tekumel has passed away. RIP.
The ranks of the hobbies pioneers are thinning.

-Never heard of him before.
-His setting sounds interesting, and really, if you look at things in the sense that Gary Gygax was very "miniature warfare games"-first and "fantasy world"-second, Mr. Barker is almost like the godfather of D&D settings. |
