| The best part is that she has finally stopped ribbing me about reading "kiddie" books as there is an unfortunate misconception about fantasy in India, if i was a parent i probably wouldn't let my kids read a lot of fantasy works because they are simply not age appropriate. But people seem to believe that fantasy is just elves and faeries dancing in a circle sheesh, so thank you Mr. Byers for your imaginative and innovative work. |

| "The Rose of Sarifal" - is this book in print version? Aamazon states that it is available in this format in the US, but my Polish bookstore has just emailed me that the book won't be released in print. I've ordered 50+ books from them... and they realised all the orders without any problems. |

| The Zhentarim book sounds promising, though I'm not going to get an eBook. |

Agreed, though that cover art is absolutely horrid. |

Re: the Zhentarim novel: That isn't necessarily the final cover art. The first appearance of the art on Amazon rarely is.

Well, I'm in Australia and I just picked up my print version of the novel yesterday, so, yes, it's available as a print version.
Perhaps your Polish distributors are having problems sourcing any stocks of the printed version from overseas. I know that's happened here several times. |

| Coolio, Looks like the Rise of the Zhentarim will be an interesting one. I would much rather a book about Manshoon's younger days as he made the Zhentarim into what they were at their height and was hoping that this would be the first book where FR authors can write in different "eras" but alas it is not. Should still be interesting though. |

Been ages since I've posted here... but are there any ideas why Amazon doesn't list Godborn, or at least it won't show up for me... and why Demon Weave by Alex Irvine has been removed? Nor does the wizards Novel Catalog (ebook or regular) list either of them. |

Well, Richard's Prophet of the Dead is scheduled on February 2013, and it's already on Amazon. Hopefully this isn't a sign that Godborn's release will be moved to a later date---again. |

| Amazon.ca has Godborn listed as November 6th 2012. Although there is no image showing as available for the cover or description of the novel. That isn't encouraging considering there HAS been a description and an image in the past. I don't understand why WotC keeps pushing this one back and releasing so many other middle of the road books in the mean time. |

Sigh. So many drow stuff coming. So they're done with Spellplague and now replace it with what? DROWPLAGUE. |

How about the new plague hitting the realms. The Deva Plague. ;) I recently read three novels where the main characters were Devas. Dawnbringer, Sword of the Gods, and Circle of Skulls. |

I have the impression that devas are rather famous among 4E fans. Frankly, for me, they're nothing but spell components. Remember what Vhostym did to one? |

My lore is a bit rusty. Didn't he use one to feed a seedling to some shadow tree or something along those lines so he could eventually draw selune a bit close...? |

He trapped a deva to activate the Weave Tap, treating the deva like some sort of 'soil' where the magical tree (the Weave Tap) could grow and draw power from both the Weave and the Shadow Weave. |

Sword of the Gods, and Circle of Skulls were pretty good. Dawnbringer was a bit meh IMO.
have you checked out Sword of the Gods? That Deva taps into Divine power capable of killing gods. In fact He's supposed to be the gods assassin. |

Not yet. I'm not really a fan of devas, or any celestial beings for that matter. I favor wizards and sorcerers more. |

I didn't think I would either but I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the Empyreun Odyssey trilogy. |

Hmm. It looks like we're in opposite camps here. I was SO disappointed with The Fractured Sky that I didn't bother finishing it, nor giving it a second chance. In fact, the physical book met a rather horrible fate in my not so gentle hands. |

I wasn't a fan of that entire trilogy and found myself skimming most of it. It surprised me because I did enjoy the author's previous Realms novels. |

I just read book three of this series so cant comment on the Fractured Sky but it didnt seem that bad to me. The writing wasnt amazing but the plot was interesting, mostly because of its grand scale. |
