I'm playing a FR campaign and my players are currently in the Vast.
I'm open to any idea of quests and interesting house rules.
I need these propositions as guidelines to help me cause I want to know what other DMs are doing to help myself becoming a better DM.
Finally, if my players are on the forum ( like yetanotheryaoiboy ) it's here that you can post me your ideas.

Well, for streamlining, there's the suggestion I passed on to you over here. Other than stuff like that, what are you looking for? |

Any complementary FREE informations on the Vast, because I only got the forgotten realms campaign setting of 3e and it's kind of, well, "empty"... |

There are no many info about vast. I know tuigian tribes were there who invaded kara-tur and some of the eastern lands of fearun like rashamen as you would know if you are running such a campaign. For me it will be very hard for you but I would weave an intregue and tie that to a greater cause such as venegeance from western civilizition It can be a very great campaign if you will be cautios Chaos is always better than order for me so I bet what ever keeps the tension up will be ok some dungeon crawl lots of intrigue Yeah, I would do like that |

Well, the Vast is . . . nice and open. Really, you shouldn't have everything exact, or it doesn't give yourself room to move around on your own. Never be afraid to make your own stuff up. |

There was a large amount of information written about the Vast around '96-'98 by the Living City Campaign Community. They attempted to flesh-out the entire region with some free sourcebook downloads. I don't use the material that much anymore (mostly because my own FR Vast region has been changed considerably), but there might be something interesting for you.
I'll send you the link via ethereal mail.
