Yeah, I'd like some clarification on how Obould I became the exarch of Gruumsh, given the Kingdom of Many-Arrows friendly relations with the rest of the League of the Silver Marches/Luruar for a time. Eric has suggested some good possible rationalizations for it all, but that example of ascension really leaps out at me. |

I'd like to know more about lives of Azuth, Velsharoon, and Kiaransalee shortly before, during, and after their ascension.
Something occurred to me...Is there "racial discrimination" among the deities? Do "pureblood" deities look down on ascended mortals? |

This would be a fun read:
A trilogy featuring Jeriah and some non-famous chronomancers. Chonomancy is less tackled in the Realms that it's time we see how exactly does it work . As I noted in other threads (I made), the emphasis on time-travel and other time-related magic does not necessarily have to cause some major RSEs. |

I would love to see haflings more represented in the Realms, and I'd like to see them being more than thieves tbh Always wanted to see some warrior, ranger or wizard. Vohnkar, the nelwyn warrior from Willow ywas an interesting char to be developed, besides looking like a half-sized Valygar Corthala ofc... |

Hrmm I had to do some thinking with this and came up with just some things I would want to read about: * I'll echo the request for more of the shade princes. * Something set in Rashamen and featuring the Wychalaran - preferable written by Elaine Cunningham. * A badass female assassin, fighter type character with a heavy dose of anti-hero as protagonist - Written by Paul S. Kemp. * Maybe a novel with an archer (arcane archer) as protagonist - I started playing through NWN (dusting off the game a bit) with one and thought it might be an interesting class to read about.
Above post by Sage sounds fascinating... I would watch that. |

OK, here are two dream novels that came straight to my mind.
1) a set of adventurers meet in a tavern in Sigil and figure out they are all from Fearun and while waiting for the next assignment or to continue their journey, they share their adventure stories from all over Farun and the planes. Anthology style.
2) Same situation, but in a tavern in the Border Kingdoms and the adventurers being low level or medium level PCs who share their little adventures in the BKs. I think it is sometimes really nice to have lower level chars. Stories are less epic and you can put more emphasis on descriptions of surroundings, clothes, weapons, shops etc, as the story can be more slowed down than the epic ones. |

Actually, I think the untold story of Lady Telamont has been told well enough already.
Not well enough. Not yet. It'd be interesting to see his childhood, his apprenticeship to Karsus, his finding Alashar, his dabbling and later mastery of shadow magic, and his covert schemes to one day punish the bitch goddess who masterminded his wife's murder.
Well, we already know how he found Alashar. She was supposed to assassinate him lol. I loved the short story "The lady and the shadow" |

I always enjoyed origin stories of legendary character, specifically when they were unknowns. The early days of an arrogant red wizard apprentice named Szass Tam. Jarlaxle meeting other rogue nobles hiding in the slums of Menzoberranzan to discuss forming a band.
It's also fun to story important events of the Realms from the perspective of other people. For example how did Shade cope when they first arrive in the Shadow Plane after Karsus's Folly? That is, before the princes mastered shadow magic and became shades themselves. |

I'd love a novel about Obould during the time of the Transitions trilogy. The spiritual nature of the orcs could be really fun for Salvatore, given his DemonWars Saga.
A barbarian protagonist who isn't afraid to use magic, or a barbarian shaman for a protagonist is something I would like to read about. |

Hopefully, Paul's latest trilogy would delve more into this. If not as the main plot, at the very least, as minor but critical sub-plot. |

I REALLY, REALLY want a new series with Fox as the main character indeed!! More Erevan Ilesere and possibly add the Shattering Swords of Coronal Ynloeth, considering Fox already has the Bracer.

I would certainly love writing that. There are lots of ideas . . .
Read Eye of Justice when you get the chance, btw.

Inspired by DC' Infinite Crisis:
Torils: Infinite Chaos. I'd like to see an alternate version of Toril and its famous inhabitants. I'd like them to be varied, not uniformly shadowy, dark, or pure good. But a mix of the three. Say, Elminster being young and handsome, quick to anger, but still chaotic good. The Simbul being very patient yet still as powerful as her self in the original Toril, which for the sake of this post, I shall name Toril Prime. Telamont being an ally of Mask, scheming to obliterate Shar and avenge his wife's murder. Shade Enclave, Halruaa, Skullport, Sembia and Luscan being cities of Reborn Netheril. Thay divided into North and South, ruled by Szass Tam and the Zulkirate (Lallara, Nevron, Yaphyll, Rhym, Dmitra, Lauzoril, Thrul) respectively. Imaskar being the biggest threat to all the realms as it begins its campaign for world dominion. |

The Return of Jhaamdath and the Awakening of Auppenser. To rebuild their realm, the survivors of fallen Jhaamdath seek aid [mundane, psionic, and magical] from practically anyone, including the illithids and their evil god, Ilsensine.
When Mystra returns, she decides to gather as many allies she can to help her watch her back. And so she awakens Auppenser... |

quote: creyzi4zb12 ... I love orcs, and they seem to be getting a lot of attention nowadays. But I don't think.....perhaps not everybody likes to read about bloodthirsty-foul-smelling orc protagonists....But I think it would be a change... I wish somebody would make a novel which has the scro on it ...
Not everybody likes to read about "peaceful" civilized neutered orcs either. Obald's little nation has received much attention, but nobody has really written about the other orcs of the Realms. The ugly dirty savage marauding evil ones who live by strength and steel and stealth. Yes, the scro do need more mention than they've received, although outside of their Spelljamming element they're really not a lot different from standard orogs. |

I'd love to read more about the Crown Wars and the early Dwarven clans, but it's been implied that it ain't happening.
Stories about the newly redeemed dark elves escaping the Underdark.
We had a series about a Dragon Rage. Maybe a story about an Orc Horde, from the orcs PoV?
Josidiah losing Gwen.
Zak and Jarlaxle, with the Spider Mage.
Qarlynd Melarn and the City of Hope.
Sorry Elaine, but more Liriel! You did too good a job with her to not want more. Maybe a short story about her dealing with the fact that 2 of her goddesses have died.
I've read nothing about Halrua, and it interests me. Maybe an Evermeet or Cormyr style book about it.
More about Araevin Teshur and/or the new residents of Myth Drannor.
A story about the founding of Menzo, or any drow city. |

Larloch: Evil Batman Halaster: His Joker You cannot plan for madness. Please, Im sure Halaster has all sorts of things on storage in Undermountain that could level the playing field. Plus, I think there is a trapped (god?, elder evil?, infernal lord?,) Let me look around a little for the notation I saw and add it to the conversation.
