I know several scribes have been curious over the last few months re: the lack of solid updates for the "So Saith Ed" archives. Most notably, everything from mid-'08 to the current year.

Well, I've finally managed to finish off both the compilations for 2008 and 2009 [the main lot of Ed's replies had already been compiled, but the completeness-freak in me forced me to collect replies from other sources/scrolls {aside from those in the main "Questions for Ed Greenwood" scroll} as well]. These files have now been sent off to Alaundo for later uploading to the main site of Candlekeep and the "So Saith Ed" archives proper.

I'm presently moving on to finishing up both 2010 and 2011.

Glad to hear that, Sage. The number of items in your To-Do List has finally been decreased! This sounds like a cause for a celebration!

Indeed. I took a great deal of satisfaction in marking that off my virtual list.

It even prompted the Lady K to comment on the unexpected state of my smiling visage so early in the morning.

At which point, she asked... "What have you done now?"

It's the first time something's been scratched off of his to-do list since late 2005!

No wonder he's grinning like a madman. Sorry, Sage, but I must confess that the visage of your current avatar always unnerved me ... he looks too smug and sneaky, the sort of greasy slimeball I instantly mistrust, like a purveyor of Sseth-oil or used-tome salesman.

[Edit: Having said that, I do really like his gold-collared shirt style. It looks vaguely militant.]

Well met

Aye, I think this is the most surprising item of lore to land on my desk in many years

Many thanks, Sage. I will convert and upload these documents asap and inform when completed.

As one of those curious scribes, I certainly appreciate it.

One usually has far more to fear from the soft-spoken wizard with a blade and well-worn boots than from the boisterous one in the ivory tower.

I've actually been on something of a new-avatar hunt lately. I've found some really cool sagely-type images on an artist's site that I'm trying to obtain permission to "borrow" from.

Is there any ETA on the 2010 collection?

And of course the follow up would be any ETA on the 2011 collection?

I'm aiming to have both files finalised and fully compiled by the end of this month. Then they'll be off to Alaundo for upload to the "So Saith Ed" archives.
