Eilinel has planty of books about the Elven High Magic, she knows a lot of things about it and has probably the best spellcraft score she could ever have (+31 and +33 about scrolls). She would like to repair and recraft the Mythal of Elven Court which doesn't seem to be perverted. what do u think about? how could she do that? Are there things she should know that i don't know about? thanks a lot.

I don't have my books with me at the moment, but I know of a website that sometimes discusses these types of issues involving Elven Mythals. I need to look for the link, so when I find it, I'll send it via ethereal mail, or post it here.

i know that there is the Jaerle house around but it shouldn't be a real problem actually. the true one is that i absolutly do not know how to make a Mythal alive again. the drows have an idea how to do it sonce they went there to take the Mythal power for themselves. and, does anyone know what specific effects the Elven Court Mythal did?

I'm guessing that since the mythal relies on the health of the land to survive, that the surrounding area needs to be purified of all evil for the Mythal to continue. Recharging it is a different story. Hyperthetically you would have to perform some sort of high magic ceremony, where life force is infused into the mythal to renew its power, or as with the case of myth drannor, you could use a source of raw magic power (such as the pool of radiance) to concentrate the weave to that point. Maybe heavy magic would do the trick.
In my campaign the mythal over myth drannor has never corrupted, unlike a high magic mythal it doesn't rely on nature to survive but instead the weave. Its core powers were simply "switched off" during the fall to preserve its longevity.
The drow don't stand a chance with the Elven court mythal unles they use shadow magic to undermine it. Hmmm... High shadow magic, now there's a concept...... |

Thanks a lot Lolth Slayer, you're totally right. if i wanna take the Elven Court Mythal back to the elves (i mean the good elves), i need to clean first the forest around... which is not an easy task. and for the high magic ceremony, i have no idea how to perform it, since im just alone able to do it. well, Elm might help me, who knows?
a pool of radiance, u said... mmmm |
