There's tons of D&D character sheets and character building tools online.

This is probably the best place to look first.

i was hoping just some sample sheets like in the example of 3.0 and 4.0 they give you base line characters you start with vs making your own

I realize that these are 4th level characters, but with a little creative use of the wayback machine, I was able to dig up this link from the wizards website:

2006 Worldwide Gameday Sample Characters

It has a Dwarf Cleric, Elf Ranger, Elf Wizard, Halfling Rogue, Human Fighter, and a Human Paladin. Even though, as far as I can tell, they aren't intended for Forgotten Realms use, the Dwarf is a Cleric of Moridin, so it all works out in the end.

Might provide what is desired.

"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."
