Artemis' and his battle against Dahlia was a tasty treat. His immediate recognition of her unorthodox weapon making her a bad match for him straight up was well done, and handled even better when they did start fighting. His realization that he would need to use his assassin skills to kill her or avoid her punctuated that.

Gromph Baerne's cameo was a nice touch. Always glad to read about the immortal Archmage of Menzo :)

Jarlaxle meeting Drizzt again after so long is what really caught me in this section. Jarlaxle's genuine frustration over meeting the new Drizzt and his apathy and self pity was so well done. His conversation with Bruenor over Drizzt was also eye opening, to both of them.

Athrogate's appraisal of Dahlia to Bruenor was also noteworthy.

But most of all the was capped off by Entreri's first sighting of Drizzt since he thought he killed him 100 years ago. If anything this should have been the nail in the coffin to those questioning Barrabus being Entreri.
