I'll leave it up to you to decide. :) Just if you do decide on a prestige class, let me know which book it is in, etc.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I haven't played D&D for a few months and I've got the urge to play again. So I'm interested in joining as well, if that's ok. Although I can't promis to post everyday. University is quite time consuming. |

I'm game until I decide I have enough people. So, as I've said a few times, send me a char and I'll find a way to fit things in.
As for school, no worries, I plan to go back in the fall plus I'm dealing with health problems, so there will be days when I can't answer. Especially the beginning of March, and then I'll have four weeks of recovery, which means there might be days when I don't feel well enough to sit down and post.

If it good campign i go with Techsmith if Evil i go blackguard,
Assassin and Blackguard are in DGM
and Tech Smith is in Forgotten Realms Faiths and Pantheons Basically the class means i have my own pet golem and i am very a Construct killer. |

I'm playing a CN(G) whisper gnome rogue/swashbuckler, hopefully aiming for the Blade Bravo PrC, in an update of the 2e Tunnelrat kit. Or will be, as soon as I finish equipment purchases. I'd like to avoid an evil campaign, if possible, though my guy is certainly ruthless when called for. |
Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be... Sigh... And now 4e as well. |

A whisper gnome is something I've been wanting to play for a while. Unfortunately, the opportunity never came up. *sigh* Have fun with it!! |

Kuje, I am almost finished making my character save for a few equipment purchases. I'm in the process of typing it up in a word document here, but for the most part am finished. Oh and I forgot to put in that PrC that it goes off of the saves and attack bonus of druid/cleric in the PM. One thing I wanted to ask first is there a limit on what can be bought magic items wise (like only scrolls, potions, etc.) or are minor wondrous items available for purchase - like a Heward's Handyhaversack for an example. |

I'm open for magical items unless they seem a bit to overpowered for 5th level. What I saw listed on the info you sent seems fine with me.

And now that I have basically four chars, I'll probably start the game over the weekend or by monday at the latest. It seems play by post seems pretty popular, so I'll find a place to host. |

Just getting a vote here, which forum do you guys want to use?
Roleplay Online is one that I've known about for years but they have a lot of policies that you have to follow, which isn't a bad thing, etc.
Paizo's Pathfinder Play by Post forums.... I just hate the color on their forums, it's to bland/white.
dndonlinegames.com.
All three need a account and password, so either way we'd all have to make an account. Or does anyone know of any other places that could work to host a game? If you don't like any of them, we could stick to email and I could just post the logs on Keep, like I've done in the past.
Also, I know there was more then four of you who were interested, so I'm still willing to run a game for who ever wants to join, I just need a character. :)

My vote's for rpol. I'm already involved in a couple of games over there, plus I can check it at work, whereas I don't get personal email at work, so I'd be able to post more. |

I'm fine with either of those choices. Making an account isn't too much of a bother and I'm sure the policies on rpol aren't that demanding. I just need to know where to begin signing up to make an account and I'm ready to begin. :) |

I would vote for Obsidian Portal. It has a kick ass setup.
A non-FR game of mine is at:
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/world-of-aerk
If you want to look it over and see what options are available; it enables you to do a GREAT many things...
EDIT:
I hit post instead of preview...
You can post maps on it, the DM can post Adventure Synopsis, there is a Forum for each game, characters can be posted, the DM has a secret DMs area under each heading allowing him to keep private notes...so much more. |

It looks interesting but that site has to many bells and whistles. :) I guess I just like something that's a bit simple. :)

I'm still interested, but I was unable to dig out my books until tonight. I haven't played for that long. Though after dusting off the books and browsing through, it's really nice to get back into the swing of things.
Is the game still centered on a keep or home base? If so I'm thinking of playing a wizard. If a bit of divine magic is needed, archivist is a good choice, I can keep the same character background.
Or maybe even an Artificer (the Eberron one) but I'm uncertain how it can be adapted to the Realms. I recall it makes use of action points and such. I do like the artificer's ability to craft constructs that help create items for the party. That fits great if the group had one location they make their own.
If we're going to be more wanderer types, I saw mention of getting a ship, maybe a wizard with the intent of becoming a Stormcaster or a skilled sneaky type if we're in a pirate mood. |

I don't have any Eberron books, so ya'd have to send me that class. As for a character, play something you want, I'll fit the game around it. Atm, I have my opening passage written, I just have to post it. From there, we'll see what happens. :)

And my intro should be posted on roleplay online. However, I might need a bit of help getting you all added to the game. Peers at Hoondatha for that. :) |
