There's a good list in Aurora's Whole Realms Catalog.

There's a useful listing in the 2e Aurora's Whole Realms Catalogue.

Also, Ed has discussed several types of wine in his '04 and '05 replies here at Candlekeep. Check through the files and perform a search.

And Krash provided a listing of Ales, Spirits and Wines of the Realms here at Candlekeep:- http://www.candlekeep.com/library/articles/ales.htm

I'll note however that while George's listing is comprehensive, it doesn't include every beverage or drink referenced in most relevant Realmslore sources. For example, Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark lists several popular liquors, ales, and assorted beverages which feature in both taverns in the Underdark and in the Realms Above.

As well, we have numerous novel references to select drinks served in taverns and inns across the Realms and the occasional mentions in assorted 1e/2e/3e FR sourcebooks [like those I referred to above in DDGttU] other than the Volo's Guides and Aurora's Whole Realms Catalogue.

Non-canonically, I recently had a character in a game who drank (or, rather, ordered one for a dwarf who boasted he could drink anything) Ennui, which is a sort of "liquid shadow" liquor crafted in Shade/Netheril or other parts of the Plane of Shadow/Shadowfell. It actually inflicts unholy/necrotic damage.

Also, we came up with a great marketing pitch: "Ennui--not as boring as it sounds!"

Cheers

Does anyone know where to find the DDGttU? I'd really like to look through it. Where can I look besides Amazon?

Nobleknight.com or dragontrove.com routinely have second-hand copies popping up at reasonable prices. There's also eBay I suppose.

I've bought from Nobleknight, but I'm a huge fan of eBay. It's helped me build my FR collection twice now, and I've recently happened on some rare FR items on there.

I regularly vouch for nobleknight.com above all others because it's the one site I know of where I can almost always find anything RPG-related... and usually for a suitable price that doesn't strain my coin purse.

I know this thread is a bit dated, but I found the following recently in Curse of the Azure Bonds (novel) - about a quarter of the way through with Ruskettle at The Hidden Lady:

- Red Rum Swirl

- Dragon's Bite

- A Yeti's Breath

- Black Boar
