That sounds particularly fiendish . I believe some alignment shifts may have been in order, unless of course they were already pretty 'evil' anyway?.

well they may be minor shifts because of the sound of it even a lawful good character would have killed this annoyance.

Some believe there is something more after death, if you really want to find out... go kill yourself and stop pestering me.

Well, a paladin who participated in that activity should loose his powers, at the very least. Otherwise, I think that there wouldn't have been much of a concequence.

Remember, Sage, this is the same munchkin player Master Dresdinn was having trouble with. Personally, I can't shed any tears over him.

I love jokes, good for mental health. I need laughter occasionally to survive, especially recently.
I read all the great meeting exicitement, I wish I could make it.
Maybe I still can, who knows what future bears.

Yes,I think thats why they catch a fair price in Sigal.Have you come up with any homebrew uses and mixtures involving cranium rat tails yourself,Sage?
Looks like the head would be used for something or should I say cranium, since this is what makes them unique.

I haven't, but a well known member of the PS online community has. I'll see if I can borrow a few of his creations (which will be included in the PSCS) and preview them here.

On a side-note, I have been trying to convince him to visit Candlekeep, since he is an FR fan, but the work on the PSCS is very time-consuming. Maybe if I pass along your interest that may convince him otherwise...the only problem is, he may dethrone Candlekeep's resident Sage of the Planes....

Well...today my party and i took on a crazed party of rallaster worshippers (which included elves, humans, and the regular surface dwelling humanoids), and there was a battle.

Funnily enough several funny deaths happened (luckily they did not happen to our characters)
One worshipper managed to do a crit miss of "1" with an axe, so he somehow lodged it into his foot. Then it proceeded to try to walk towards my fellow party member (a grey dwarf, i believe {duergar?}) and when it did so, it stumbled forward, leaning over, exposing its head for his gleaming warhammer (which is a d8)...this left an opportunity of attack for my friend, and so he rolled a crit hit, while my other friend (a drow ranger with underdark arrows {somehow the dm was kind enough not to melt them, which we are all eternally greatful for}) rolled a crit hit as well for his arrows...well...this resulted in a nice scenario that ended with brains splattered everywhere and someones gullet torn open.

another one of the dwarf's nice little manuevers(after being angered by a lousy hit by the minion of rallaster, who wielded taped wrapped around his knuckled with metal attached to it {i hope this is considered an unarmed attack because thats how it was taken}) was rolling ANOTHER crit hit onto one of the would-be attackers because of an opportunity, got a crit hit, then afterwards chose to use cleave (this is after two swings, one from the previous time, and one for the just now aforementioned time that is in this paragraph) and slammed the butt of his warhammer through the thing's stomach, picked him up off the ground, and slammed it onto its head, breaking its neck.

I have yet more...

I, the drow monk (so odd, a drow in melee combat) did an axe kick, crit hit, and slammed it onto the top of its head, shattering the skull... (in the end i only get four kills while the dwarf and the other drow get five-six, of course i was surrounded, but ill put up the full story on a different topic, this is just the funny parts) and it crumples onto a pile of dead bodies that are oozing several aromatic bodily fluids.

this is all i shall write on this scroll for now

many high stats for my character...like my ac for example is a seventeen and im only a level three drow monk.
my charisma is rather low though...i was dubbed as the "ugly" drow.
my hp is lacking though, because as a monk i used a d6 to roll for when i leveled up, so im only up to twenty-one for hp.

Is the only character you have ever had? What made you decide Drow Elf for your character? Just curious.

You are quite correct, it is indeed the only character i have ever had, as i am extremely new to the game, and have only just started playing it a month ago (we play on every sunday, yes sadly enough, ONLY on every sunday )
I chose a drow elf because that is what im familar with, and thought that it would suit me as a person...i have many dark things about me, as do Drows, but i also have the great potential to be good (as shown with Drizzt Do'Urden), so i played upon that potential, and made it into actuality, by choosing to make myself a monk, which indeed, as i have put it, and may put it many times thereafter, is paradoxical...

Playing once a week is probably the most frequent meeting time for RPG groups. Don't feel so bad. I have a campaign where the players can only get together once every three months.

Sounds like a good choice to me then.Everyone started out new at one time and as Arivia says you play when ever the group can meet.

City of the Spider Queen is a massive adventure that Wizards of the Coast(the company that makes D&D)released awhile ago. It's a hundred sixty-eight pages in length, all told. It takes about maybe fifty hours to play through, and for a group that meets for five hours at the most every three months, it takes quite a while.

How long do you think it would take for a party of five people to finish if it they meet once every month for about five-eight hours?

I think finishing an adventure is not important. The important thing is to long for another game making plots for the char and playing the game with that feeling. I m not as good as other Dm s who are able to build that atmosphere but I would be pleased to play in such a game. Maybe I can reach that quality

It really depends upon how fast your group is.
I believe Wizards of the Coast's estimates of the time it takes to play the adventure were about 40-60 hours.
With the guidelines below, I'd say a year to a year and a half of playing sessions(with a session once a month).
It's not for everyone, however, as the adventure is heavily combat based. There's limited opportunities for true roleplaying in the third part, but they don't last all that long.
It is a Forgotten Realms 3.0 adventure, if that means anything to you.

It was ok, I just wanted a name that was in-character, like everyone else did, or else i'd appear out of place, and throw off the flow.

Plus it's the name of my Monk.
