Ok for I have a very small chance to read the the return of the archwizards trilogy I deeply appreciate if anyone can summarize what happens in those books? I m not talking about the back cover of the books.

THE BIGGEST SPOILER EVER!!!!

Actually...Elminster had very little to do with what happens in those novels....he was in Hell at the time.

Basically...a member of an ancient elven society of "tomb-protectors" unwittingly opens the door for Shade Enclave (the last remnant of ancient Netheril) to come into Faerun, appearing as a huge flying city over the Anauroch Desert. With it, Shade brings new levels of understanding of the Shadow Weave and a great deal of mistrust for the people of Faerun.

This reveals the reason that the Phaerimm (magic eaters) have been congregating in the desert. The Phaerimm, the ancient enemies of Netheril immediately begin to attack the Enclave as Shade attempts to reclaim the desert as their new home.

The elf who first brought the Enclave to Faerun finds himself having to sew together the Harpers and other groups to wage a three-way war against the Phaerimm AND Shade Enclave (which was actually a VERY cool story line).

I don't know if you want me to ruin the ending for you...as it is an excellent story......Let me know if otherwise.

My latest Realms-based short story, about a bard, a paladin of Lathander and the letter of the law, Debts Repaid. It takes place before the "shattering" and gives the bard Arion a last gasp before he plunges into the present.http://candlekeep.com/campaign/logs/log-debts.htm

Pretty much...the term "spoiler" just means that the content of an entry has information that will "spoil" the endings of some novels...so if you're reading a novel that has a thread about it here at Candlekeep, it's best to stay away from that thread...otherwise, you may find out the ending of your novel before you get to read it.

Hope I was helpful.

Just so you know...it's okay to put spoilers in your posts. No one will be upset...as long as you put "SPOILER" at the top...

Right Alaundo?

Actually . . . it can only be a two-way war, if there are only two enemies. Or more precisely, a two-front war.

If you have three armies, each attacking each other, with no one on each others' side...

A vs. B
B vs. C
C vs. A

.....then you have a three-way war.

Well Met

Indeed, ArionElenim. Some scribble "SPOILER" in their post, but within the subject title is also preferable as some will avoid the topic altogether if they have not read the tome, thus the eye will not catch any snippets I always intend to change the topic myself to include the said word when anything crops up in the conversation, Ive dont a few in the past but forgot about this one Oops....ahhh thats better

there is something ArionElenim forgot to press upon. One of the best developments in the story is with the main charactor, Gellorean, is having a shadow crisis, which means that his shadow self, his dark side, is fighting to take over his body.
