                      | I prefer to be single.

But I'd like Riven and the Simbul to be a couple. Their personalities match very well.

                      | Elminster. He's got the brains, the experience, the skills and the power. And besides I was always attracted to older guys in their mid 1000's. What wierd ass question is that? Could you tell me what is your motive or purpose for this tread? Because I don't get it.

                      | Maybe I'm just enjoying being weird.
P.S. I've once met a nerdy and intelligent girl who was secretly in love with Jarlaxle (!!!) and wanted to be an elf. Just imagine... And she was also an Indigo kid (have you heard about them?). So I just wanted to know: are Candlekeep visitors wierder than this shy young lady or not.

                      | What a thread I agree with you HelldoG on this one.
My husband in the Realms would be either Jarlaxle or Zaknafein Do'Urden. Or Gromph Baenre - on second thought, probably not, I don't want to meet Sosdrielle's fate.

                      | I *did* marry in the Realms. My long-serving NPC, Sage Operth, married his travelling companion of many years... the Lady Kazandra. He even joined her for a brief sojourn in the Dread Domains, jointly running the Cosmopolis Club with his lady-love, before returning to Toril.

                      | Someone rich, nice, intelligent, beautiful and with an extremely boring life that would in no way put me at risk or in any form of Realmsian danger. Not that easy to find in the Realms. Now, if we remove my natural cowardice and good sense then Myrmeen of Arabel or Loene of Waterdeep would be my choices. |

                      | Well, I have a couple ofcharacters in Forgotten Realms I really recognize with. My paladin I married off to a half-celestial servant of Torm. If I were Joran, I'd definitely want to be married to Alleraia, and raise his family and live the life he does. Few things are as great as that, I think.
If I were Telethian, my fey'ri bladesinger, I'd want to marry Sarya Dlardrageth. At least, how she was presented in Hellgate Keep and not that trilogy that was written a few years ago. She's an intelligent, attractive, and capable woman that I really admired in that module. I'm pretty sure Telethian could bring her around to a better way of thinking if they got together. He has a persuasive manner about him, believe me.

                      | I would probably be married to a female member of some royal house or trade organization; essentially, a woman with a level head, a golden heart, plenty of smarts, and plenty of organization skills. Such a woman would be likely to complement the capabilities of a character like myself.
A shame, though. Seems in reality that women up here in Connecticut don't seem interested in a guy like me. More interested in wild men with mean streaks than intellectual guys like me with a promising future and a warm heart.

Let's see- who would I like to marry in the FR? Jarlaxle, definitely. Or Danilo. I'd love Jar's take on life- and there would never be a dull moment with him! But maybe I could convince him to grow his hair out... (Cause a girl likes to have some to run her fingers through, y'know?) Or Khelban. I'm sure he's quite the passionate one, lol!

                      | I'm sure there's plenty of vamps and (were-)cougars in the nightclubs, if you're into that sort of thing.
But I'd personally want to just find a charming little alu-fiend from the quaint old country and settle down, raise some happy little tieflings, y'know, take pleasure from the simple things in life.

I'm hoping that there's magic to cure bad teeth in the Realms. I mean I could look past ugly, I could fall in love, but we're talking about a medieval sort of setting and a mouth full of nasty rotting teeth is - for me - an utterly irrevocable turnoff.

So my RL crush on Patrick Stewart and Sean Connery is okay? Whew!! Had me worried, there...

I thought that there was some sort of international law against not having a crush on them.
That is to say, I second your old(er), bald sentiments!

I don't think I've met a RL female over 23 who doesn't have a crush on Sean Connery, first time I've heard that sentiment about Patrick Stewart though.
As to marriage in the Realms, I'm married here and now. If it's literally me then I stay with my one and only. If however it's my favorite PC in the Realms...Tarlek has never been tempted to marry but it might be possible for Alusair Obarskyr to tame him.

Well, I'm 24 and I've never had a crush on Sean Connery, but there is nothing wrong with having crushes on older men.
I think that Orlando Bloom is waaaaay more attractive than Sean...
Back to the topic: I can't choose - there are so many attractive men in FR, so I need to think some more time.
