I suppose with the 100 year jump and 10 years after the release of the City of Ravens book it is pointless to keep my fingers crossed about getting a sequel?
Richard Baker's story involving Jack is one of my favorites. It stepped a bit out of bounds from the usual storyline you find in Realms books with an unlikely hero (or anti-hero) full of humor, twists, and great dialogue.
I guess I must resort to rereading it for the 6th time.

Well, basically you answered your question yourself. All future novels are set in 4e, thus Jack -as a human- has no chance to see another novel, even if Rich Baker wanted to.
The book is on my re-read list too, truly one of the best I have read in the realms. |

it's the best FR novel period! and it's not close IMO
Jack could've easily carried a couple trilogies
and as the end of the book showed, he was full of surprises he wasn't even aware of so i can see how it could be manipulated where he could still be seen |

Also one of my favorites. It was my jumping on point to the Realms my second time around, when I began playing D&D as an adult.
It's such a shame they never did any more with this character. |
You have had your pocket pilfered by the R0GUE. |

I've been barking up this tree for years. City of Ravens is the best stand alone FR novel EVER! |
