My copy of Serpent Kingdoms has a flaw, so replacing it for $5 is quite welcome. I'm not a huge fan of Eber-whatsit (outside of some of its races, that is), but the Explorer's Handbook sounds like it's worth $10. So I'm getting those two books. |

Oh, the Explorer's Handbook is plenty useful, and it features worthwhile info that I've easily transplanted into my existing Realms campaigns. |

I will probably pick up the Planar Handbook. That has been on my want list for awhile. Have most of the other ones. |

I have always looked for Serpent Kingdoms, and $5 instead of $30 is a huge safe! Now I will get it with my next regular shipment. |

All excellent deals, but like the sage, i have them all.
Wooly, any of the Eberron books is worht the price, most especially at those prices. I am no fan of Eberron, but I find a LOT of the setting readilly portable, and the shear number of things you can swipe from them make gold-mines.
Considering your interest in sentient constructs, I'm surprised you haven't stolen the Warforged. Fluff is easilly re-writable for the Realms, but you have a perfectly balanced set of rules for such things all good-to-go.
I have nearly all the Eberron books in hardcover, and the rest in PDFs. If you get your hands on the Xendrik book you will definitly want to use that material in Katashaka. And if you like psionics and/or martial arts at all, the Saerlona book is a nice edition as well. I could only wish Kara-Tur had gotten some of the love Saerlona got.
They are all good - just ignore the cheesy anime'-style artwork.
And since I know you are a fan of Iron Kingdoms, you could do an awesome Warforged vs Warjacks scenario. |

Well, I've already got Races of Eberron, Magic of Eberron, and the campaign setting.

I've been fiddling with a three-part article on warforged in the Realms. I've already got two very different varieties detailed, and I'm working on the third.

A warforged could run rings around a warjack, especially most Khadoran stuff. But one good hit from a 'jack, and that warforged is going to be scrap metal. Give me range and a Defender (one of my fave 'jacks), and that warforged is toast. |

I'll second this.
Both Wooly and myself have been tinkering with ideas about psionic/sentient/assorted warforged-like constructs in the Realms. Magic of Eberron has been particularly useful in that regard.

Interestingly, I've thought about merging both the content from the 3e Oriental Adventures and Secrets of Sarlona, to flesh out a 3e interpretation of Kara-Tur. Neat stuff!

Heh. I've jokingly speculated on the possibilities of a massive warforged versus warjack versus Space Marine versus BattleTech Elemental versus WH40K Dreadnaught versus BattleMech scenario. |
