Where are they at?

I know the adventure says Northwest of Cormyr, but where. Are they only mentioned in Nightmare Keep?

Well, the module states, on pg. 3:-

On the boxed campaign set's maps, the Veilstone Peaks region is northwest of Cormyr, about 50 miles west of the Farsea Marshes.
That's about as close as we get to a location for them.

As for other mentions... as I recall, the module's about the only official source.

I look on these wonderful maps that poeple post and I never see it.

I guess it's a TSR Shoehorn.

I suppose you could try and contact Rick Swan, in order to ask him directly about it. But I've not see him active anywhere online for quite some time.

In the Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas maps, the Veilstone Peaks overlap (or overlay) the eastern spurs of the northern Sunrise Mountains.
