Thanks for the mention!
I wasn't actually sure if that piece was going to make the cut at KQ, and I was prepped to sit on the content and hopefully recycle it in the future if I had the chance. But now I get to share it with folks thanks to KQ. Fun times. :) |

So, I just noticed these articles thanks to the Sage's update (shame on me for not paying better attention to Kobold Quarterly, such an awesome publication that it is) and I just wanted to say impressive work. Aside from the fact that Mr. Stewart's prose is always evocative, these creatures are fascinating (and, in the case of the former two, disturbing. I mean, an Abyssal dweller that reproduces like a parasitic wasp? That will haunt my dreams.). Brilliant work, the Abyss can always use more strange critters to puzzle and haunt. |

If only KQ would do some articles on Falconfar and publish a map of Falconfar.
On topic: Good stuff Shemmy. |
"These things also I have observed: that knowledge of our world is to be nurtured like a precious flower, for it is the most precious thing we have. Wherefore guard the word written and heed words unwritten and set them down ere they fade . . . Learn then, well, the arts of reading, writing, and listening true, and they will lead you to the greatest art of all: understanding." Alaundo of Candlekeep |
