You are by far the most perfect example of someone hearing what they WANT to hear. I'm sorry I don't believe in what everyone else believes in but I have never stopped anyone from believing what they want to believe. If I'm not making them believe what I believe then why should I be forced to believe what everyone else believes? How am I not respecting other peoples ideas by letting them live their own lives they way they choose to live them? Explain to me how that works out in your feeble mind. You're just sitting there and . . . never mind I'm too much of a person to resort to calling you names or yelling at you. You're lucky.

Ok Canyia...

Don't get upset.

Zimeros is a really nice guy, and he often has lots of ideas of merit. However, (no offense Zimeros) his command of English is not that of a native and I think he sometimes gets himself in trouble because, since we cannot understand Portugese, he has to express himself in English, which he is currently trying to learn.

Yeah. If someone called me IGNORANT I would be mad. But I do not think he meant you were ignorant as we know it. Also, if one is not a fanatic Catholic in Latin America, they may go through some form of discrimination. I know that if I had to put up with the religious fanatics that Zimeros does, I would probably not be too receptive to any religious person. After all they are all around him.

Well, Mournblade, I understand... Canya, who think you are? "irritating brazilian boy" Do you may speak this? This is a preconcept with the Brazilians? If I'm this you're a "stupid chatolic girl blind with her religion". I have respect with you(and your religion), Canya, I'm sorry if in english, ignorant is a so bad word, I don't knew, maybe you aren't ignorant and fanatic, but you are stupid fighting for your chatoliscism. And I really hope that some day you "open your eyes"...

Holy jeezz has this thread gotten out of hand. I'm surprised Alaundo hasn't come and locked this puppy down.
Bad Alaundo! (ducks as Alaundo tries to smack this smartass apprentice upside the head)
Just kidding!
Anyway, what Mournblade said pretty much hits the nail on the head. There will always be those who believe in a 'god', and there will always be those who don't, so there will never be any rational conversation on this topic when both groups are discussing it. Just the way of the world, unfortunately.

Personally, I think those that do beleive in a 'god' have some serious mental problems, but if it helps them live their life better, then more power to them. As John Lennon once sang... whatever gets you through the night. It's when they start to infringe on mine or others personal freedoms in the name of their 'god' that I start to have some very unfriendly feelings toward them.

Too bad the real worlds religions aren't more like the religions in the Forgotten Realms. When you go astray, you KNOW, and there are palpable consequences when you do.

Eilistraee, where are you when we need you?

And then comes in and completely proves you wrong.

Unless it has to do with political grudge matches. I mean, Bush vs Cretién using chainsaws in a deathmatch for global domination. I would pay 2 dollars to see that . Well... maybe 1.
