Hey all, i was just wondering if anyone knows what books or magazine articles have a significant information on the Undersea menace known as Sea Devils?
Currently reading the book "The Sea Devils" by TSR for 2nd ed but i was hoping their was more info, specificly an update on them for 3.5 if possible.

Well, there's the Monstrous Arcana book that you already have, along with its three companion adventures. Probably the best source for FR-specific lore is the magnificent Sea of Fallen Stars, which has an entire sahuagin empire with 10,000+ years of history. The Threat from the Sea trilogy isn't bad, either (though I still hate that it gives the shalarin about a paragraph and a half).
Most of the best sources are going to be 2e, though. I'm sure the sahuagin got a 3e update, but I don't remember any sort of new lore being printed about them. We didn't even get an update of Seros in general. About the only book I can think of that might have more info would be Stormwrack, but I haven't read that in ages, so I don't know for sure. Otherwise, you're probably going to have to look in the greater d20 world. |
Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be...
Sigh... And now 4e as well. |
