The June DDI calendar is live and lists these two pieces:
June 8: Realmslore: Sarifal June 26: Adventurers of the Realms: Bard
No credits listed, but that Sarifal piece almost has to be the first entry in Ed's new monthly column, eh? We can hope so anyway! is by Brian R. James!
So, I wonder if the Bard article is by Ed, if his column isn't debuting in June, or--perhaps most likely given the living nature of the editorial calendar--it's simply not listed yet.
Anyway, looks like good stuff coming down the pike!

I can't see Ed writing an article titled "Adventurers of the Realms: Bards" ... but hey, I'm happy to be wrong.

Sarifal, eh? Sounds interesting enough.
And while a bardic article by Ed would be a dream come true, I have to agree with Krash. I just can't see it. Though, I will be ecstatic if proved wrong. |

You´re not alone there, esteemed Sage. Ed of the Greenwood writing about Bards would be epic! Ballads od the Greenwood...heh. But I agree...I would be more than surprised if that article was written by him. |

I was wondering why Sage and George can't see Ed writing the Bard article? Just curious. |

Well, for me at least, the article's title *suggests* a rules-heavy feature -- something of use for DMs and/or PCs themselves. And since we're supposedly to see a new series featuring actual Ed-lore, I thought maybe he'd have his own articles series, rather than something like this.

Yeah, it's not an "Ed article title".

I have it on (ahem) rather good authority that the first batch of Ed articles has been finished and submitted, and that the Bards article under discussion is not by him. love to all, THO |

I know, an Ed article on bards would be wonderful, even though "rules heavy" certainly isn't his style. |

I for one cannot wait for the Bard article. It'll be interesting to see how I implement any information into my game, which coincidentally has a Bard. |

The compiled issue of Dragon #376 is up now. In addition to Brian's Moonshaes article, there's a a nice piece by Chris Tulach that provides a lot of info about Tarmalune and the Windrise Ports in Returned Abeir--especially useful for folks planning to play the LFR "mini campaign" debuting at GenCon.
The July calendar lists a piece titled "Explore: Airspur" for the 24th!

I can't wait for Realmslore that is actually about the REALMS, as in the setting that we are all "used to", as opposed to places, things, and so on that are relativley new. |
