ebay has an offer for the books, entitled, "Forgotten Realms: The Double Diamond Triangle Saga." Sorry, I don't have the item number at hand. Monday morning the price was AU $10.50 (that's ten Australian dollars and fifty cents, not ten and a half gold dollars ... I think).

Everyone please say, "Thank you, Wooly!"
I only ("only" -- HA!) need Uneasy Alliances, Easy Betrayals, and The Diamond. These are the last three. Does anyone know the print runs on these three? Usually the latter books in a series have more copies of them printed to take into consideration not just buyers, but also those who may have borrowed earlier books from a friend or from a library.
(It is my practice, btw, to usually not begin reading a series until I have all the volumes, so PLEASE don't post any spoilers on this scroll, good scholars -- there are other scrolls for such purposes. Thank you for your co-operation, and please do not disturb the mist dragon on your way out....)

I was lucky enough to gab a complete set on ebay a while back for $25 or so. I was very happy when they cam in as new condition , each in its own individual sleeve...Gotta love ebay.
And Jamalo, I could not beleive it when they ended with a wave of blue fire raging across Faerun
In truth , I still need to read them.....but hate to crack open such pristine rare books! |

That is indeed very lucky! I ended up dropping nearly $90 for the full set + shipping..doh! |
Any Lone Wolf fans? Old school gamebooks from the 80's? They are being re-released/updated, and new books 29-32 being written: http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/novels/lonewolfsolo.html
Forgotten Realms BOOKS owned: ALL of them! (ebooks?...NONE! ever) |

Wonder if these books will come out on eReader? The prices on Amazon are nutty. |

It's nice to have these rare Realms books in your collection, but to be honest the writing and plot for this series was terrible. |

Hopefully they never come out in ereader format or see any attention again as they have been deemed non-canon. They were also pretty terrible books anyway. |

Honestly, so do I. I've bought the books like 4 times -- my original set, my replacement set, one set I sold, and a set I plan to sell -- but I've never actually read them...
Never paid more than $35, either, though I've seen them sell as high as $70 before.
There is also some guy on eBay that remains convinced he'll sell them for $250 -- I see him putting up the set every couple of months. I even emailed him once, to let him know he was seriously overpricing them. He never bothered to reply. |

Hmm...to be honest...I don't even know what I did with my copies...its been so long, I don't know if I gave those to the library 3 moves ago, or if they're just chilling in a box somewhere. |

I've had my copies for years, but I've never been all that interested in reading them... I'm thinking of correcting that situation soon. |

As an example of the non-canonicity problems of the "DDTS", I understand that in it, Artemis Entreri is portrayed as still having the injuries in the 1360s/1370s DR that he received at the end of The Halfling's Gem. He still is missing an eye and cannot use one arm. (This is so, despite the fact that RAS undid those injuries with the vampiric dagger's healing effect in the novel The Legacy, and this effect was actually foreshadowed in The Halfling's Gem, itself!) |

TRW, I believe that the Arty story is supposed to take place at the same time that "The Sellswords" does in Calimport, the Bloodstone Lands, and Memnon. So I guess he doesn't only know how to fake mutilation--he also knows how to fake location! |

You may be able to find that on Amazon. I've seen used books, including some of the Double Diamond books, on there before. |

I would sell my copies of the Double Diamond Saga for $40. They are non-canon and really not that good. I have kids to feed. |

Fun reads! Don't go in expecting canon lore and they're quite enjoyable. ;) Had to sell my collection of FR at one point, but I made sure to keep these, just so I'd never have to track them down again! (I regret selling the "Murder In..."s so hard though!) |
