He loves his Momma, his name is El'Vis and he has just left the building.
"Are you evil tonight? Did you curse me tonight? Are you sorry your prayers are unsaid Does your memory stray to a colder evil time When I kissed you after you ordered me too Do the chains in your chamber seem empty and bare? Do you gaze at your iron maiden and see me? Is your heart filled with pain, shall I stab it again? Tell me dear, are you dying tonight?"
Thank you very much. I'm here all week. How about that band? |

Fellow scribes, as pleasant as all this banter has been, I really think we should hold back on further cluttering this scroll until an answer has been found for Riot -- just so that he doesn't have to scour each and every reply looking for an appropriate answer.

Yes, my first guess would be that they are fan-made characters (PCs). |

At first glance, the character screams "powergamer" to me, I have to say... |

It's funny how the words 'drow' and 'powergamer' often appear together.
The main thing that concerns me about this drow is that the sword appears welded to his hand and his left has some weird bluish glow, which I hope isn't a permanent effect because I wonder how he goes to the toilet.
It's a nice drawing though. Male-candy, as many a Matron might say.
Back in the day, when I played a Matron I castrated all the males I didn't fancy. Actually, I ordered them to do it themselves since swords and daggers are suited for that sort of thing. Obviously, for those males who were aghast at having to perform such an action, my Matron had her mace. Anyway, I appear to be digressing too much. |

I once made a drow NPC... But the only reason he was a drow was because only the drow lore supported what I wanted to do! |

Heh, no. I'm working on a write-up of him, so I'm not going to say too much now. Suffice it to say that there was a bit of lore in FOR2 Drow of the Underdark (the real book by that name! ) that made the character concept possible. |

True, but if this character wasn't a drow, I'm pretty sure I'd still have the same opinion. |

*chuckles* I agree.
Drow powergamers always have vorpal blades too. I refer to my earlier comments about my Matron. |

Can you have a vorpal blade just because you want to have one? I have apparently been playing this game all wrong. |

Of course you can. This sort of game is all about sensitive adolescent egos and nothing about immersion in richly detailed settings where one uses one's wits and in-game knowledge. Going back to my Matron, there was one player whose stat's were all in the high 20's, he was half-drow, half-dragon (but all man, baby), he had vorpal blades and a mile high ego made out of glass. It made my poor level 7 cleric of a Matron seem rather puny. But she still won because she used his strengths to defeat himself. She gave him control over training her elite guard. The day came when the results of the training were to be seen in a tourney. This one player couldn't help but show off. He breathed fire over the heads of the trainees but forgot that his breath weapon was a cone not a line, plus he was using vorpal swords. Within a few minutes the results of his training were ashes. Even he realised that banishment was the fairest punishment.
I should add that vorpal blades only work if you wear some sort of Bracers of the Lightning Strike on the ankles. |
