i am having trouble know what the theme of the book is and the conflict that goes with it i have just baught this book and i am having really hard time wondering what the theme and conflict of the book is

Short and simple. That'll work.
I saw the question and I'm just too close to the book to answer. People ask what it's about and I just freeze, "Well, it's, um...there's this wizard...". Boiling it down is pretty tough for me.

That is a good short and simple explanation, but the book is no where near that simple.
I read it a while ago, and I'd have to say it was a good read, though it left me with as many questions as it answered... |
Anyone who likes to read something that's really dark and gritty and completely awesome ought to read The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks. You can check out a little taste at www.BrentWeeks.com I should probably warn you, though, that it is definitely not PG-13 :-D
He also started a new Trilogy with Black Prism, which may even surpass the Night Angel Trilogy in its awesomeness.
