I do not think that it is known where the Srinshee now dwells. We last hear from her when she shows up and presents the ruler blade to the Coronal of Myth Drannor in 1377 |

-Current appearances of the Srinshee include 1,377 DR, from AGHotR, and before that, chronologically, would be Elminster in Hell. I am not remembering if she was featured/mentioned in his short story "Tears so White", from Realms of the Elves. |

Either in that story or in the Best of Ed Greenwood. :) Think her tale in that anthology.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

-Or that one, then. I haven't read that one, as I don't own it, but I do recall at least one other recent source featuring the Srinshee, asides for Elminster in Hell, and I am fairly certain it was a short story. A quick appearance. |

The short story "Tears so White" explains where the Srinshee now 'lives'.

It's in the second Best of the Realms book, the Best of Ed Greenwood. |

One reads the scroll and discovers that the source of the story referenced has been mentioned several times.
Additionally, most online bookstores still carry copies of Realms of the Elves. And nobleknight.com also has a copy as well.

I haven't read that short story but in one of the 3.x sourcebooks, if I remember correctly, it says in a roundabout way that she is in Arvandor. I think it was Lost Empires of Faerun and it is in the description of the artifact the Crownblade. I don't have the book with me so I have no way of checking this information. |

Aye, the book does say that:

Sages correctly suspect that the Crownblade waits with the Srinshee in Arvandor for the coming of a coronal who can reforge Cormanthyr and create the unity of which Coronals Oacenth and Eltargrim once dreamed.

funny thing tho, isnt this unity something that has been achieved in zakhara? But at the price of a complete destruction of any individual elven culture of forest living and raising mythals or dwarves living under a mountain.
Now they all live in shoon style buildings, or ride the desert, and command genies instead.
Or.. :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o76WQzVJ434 ..listen! Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not some farsical aquatical ceremony.. you cannot expect to weild supreme executive power just because some lowery tart threw a sword at you.. :D |

Well the sword has to choose its weilder. Anyone wanting to weild the crownblade must be LG and have the best interests of the elves at heart. It would seem to me that this would make a good ruler. |

By the way, there was no particular alignment restriction on the blade pre-3E, although the Coronals of Myth Drannor generally were LG. |

-Information about the Crownblades, and this one in particular, can be found in Elves of Faerūn.
Also in Lost Empires of Faerūn.
I'd imagine Dagnirion summarised the entries for the Crownblade in LEoF, as well as Cormanthyr and Fall of Myth Drannor, for EoF.

By the way, I didn't realise that Dag put together EoF. I was impressed by the detail put into it. I'm a total elf nut, so I loved it and immediately bookmarked it. |
