Greetings to all my fellow scribes!

I will be departing for the Sea Of Endless Ice (also known as Greenland - thanks Bookwyrm ) for a rather long period of time and will not have access to any form of computer whilst I am there - I know that I am not the most regular or indeed particularly long-serving of scribes but I greatly enjoy reading and discussing posts so I just wanted to say a thankyou for my time here!

I will of course return to these Walls of infinite knowledge one day and will look forward to catching up with the huge Active Topics list...

Once again thankyou, and happy learning!

Alexis Merlin

P.S. Many thanks for that Essay of yours Bookwyrm - I agree heartily with the sentiments expressed in it and will look forward to discussing it more via etheral mail upon my return.

P.P.S Anyone who is interested in what on earth I am doing in Greenland can go to this site... www.arctic.org.uk

It is knowledge that influences and equalizes the social condition of man; that gives to all, however different their political position, passions which are in common, and enjoyments which are universal.

You're welcome, Alexis, though I suppose you won't read this until your return, if then. Safe journey.
