I was rereading the first two books in the Knights of Myth Drannor trilogy, as well as reading blackstaff tower for the first time, when I started wondering about the expressions characters used.
There's stuff like Naed, Hrast, Sabruin and so on, but what do they mean? The impact of a swearword is lost if you don't have the foggiest notion of what the character meant. So is there a list of common expressions in Faerun and what they mean floating around somewhere? Because I would very much like to read it.

I just want to but in to mention that there was a recent scroll about this very subject. :) Perhaps one of the mods can bring it up again? |
"Instead of asking why we sleep, it might make sense to ask why we wake. Perchance we live to dream. From that perspective, the sea of troubles we navigate in the workaday world might be the price we pay for admission to another night in the world of dreams." --Richard Greene (letter to Time) |
