I was wondering if anyone could tell me which issue of Dragon Magazine the Dragon Oracle (i think that's what it's called) prestige class appeared? It was a class for dragons only and I believe it is particularly useful for augmenting spellcasting as I remember.

I think you might be talking about the Dragon Mystic PrC from DM #296. However, given your description, the Dragon Disciple PrC from ToB also could be what you are thinking about.

Hope that helps.

No, the Dragon Disciple PrC is only for non-dragons.

I don't have ToB with me at the moment, but if I remember correctly, with the Dragon Disciple PrC your PC eventually reaches a level (10th I think), where the character must take the Half-Dragon template. I guess I was thinking of something else, unless I am wrong about the Dragon Disciple, but like I said, I can't check at the moment.

No, you're right. That's why it's only for non-dragons. You can't already be a half-dragon.

Well, you cannot be a Half-Dragon because at level 10 of Dragon Disciple because you become a half-dragon. It's called Dragon Apothesis. And, yes it's dragon mystic, thank you.

I know that . What I meant by 'finding' the issue, was that every DM issue between #290 and #300 are currently buried beneath a pile of assorted programming books. I really don't have a lot of room at the moment, so I have several piles of books, divided into sections of necessity for that particular moment. The programming books won over the DM issues for today.

I apologise Bookwyrm if that sounded like a gripe. I was simply illustrating a point, however that does not permit an excuse if you took offense at my last post.

For those who wondered, the Dragon Mystic is a Dragon only Prestige Class for Draconic spellcasters. It enhances their spellcasting power, provides them Charisma increases (Dragons are natural sorcerers after all), and allows them to apply metamagic to their breath weapon.

Yes. In this campaign we have all chosen monstrous creatures to play as our PC's. One chose a mithral dragon, another chose a centaur, two girls in the campaign chose two Fey creatures, and I chose a Illithid.

We only started several weeks ago, but it seems to be the most active campaign for us at the moment. I'll detail more as it happens.

So what are they? I don't really know much about them. I just took a personality test (I love those things) to find my "inner dragon." What came up was the Mithril. I did change one thing -- on the list it said that mithrils were neutral good. Personally, I lean more towards chaos.
