All products covering the Sword Coast North, right back to FR1 and FR5. My personal favourite location is Ascore, and in particular the pentagonal pyramids under the ruins. There's apparently an NDA on them... which must mean an agreement not to disclose anything, in print or otherwise, because they should have been dealt with in Lost Empires of Faerun, which is by far my favourite 3.x product... although Serpent Kingdoms was awesome too. Everything after LEoF suffered from excessive restrictions of page counts, but most of it was otherwise good. Power of Faerun and Dragons of Faerun, in particular, both should have been 192+ pages; 240+ for DoF. I still lament the absence of sourcebooks for Anauroch, Cormyr and the Dalelands/Sembia/Moonsea region, though; those last four titles released would have been awesome sourcebooks, and as it was, they made rather disastrous adventures in the grand scheme of the storyline. |
Playing in the Realms since the Old Grey Box (1987)... and *still* having fun with material published before 2008, despite the NDA'd lore.
If it's comparable in power with non-magical abilities, it's not magic. |
