Hey, It's been a long time since I visited candlekeep. I just found some pretty neat art online, however, and I needed help Identifying it. I found a gallery at froghatstudios.com of an artist through stumbleupon that is by artist Chris Appelhans. His website has a couple concept sketches called "Highmoon costume design" etc. my favorite is http://www.froghatstudios.com/art/highdraw.jpg. I tried online to find out if it was a part of a videogame or book being developed by FR. but since theres a Highmoon game studio all my search results led me there. Does anyone know anything about a new highmoon product release? If so, let me know. I love highmoon its a wonderful city!

I can answer this one. That concept art is from the ill-fated "Project Jefferson," AKA "FR6," AKA "Baldur's Gate: The Black Hound," which was being developed by Black Isle Studios several years ago (prior to the death of Interplay). The game was canned because Interplay could not secure the D&D/FR license rights, thanks to its incredibly inept CEO at the time, Herve Caen.
Game's lead designer, J.E. Sawyer (now employed by Obsidian Entertainment, where most Black Isle people ended up) is working on a Black Hound mod for NWN2. I'm not sure if he'll ever get around to finish it or not, though.
You can read more about the game on my website: http://www.baator.info/
(most info is contained in the "Old Jefferson FAQ") |

Just like many brilliant NWN 1 & 2 projects that never see fruition. BTW, are there some good NWN2 modules (preferable Realms-based) that anyone would suggest? |
