Yup, saw those. Interesting stuff, I guess, but I certainly am not planning to join LFR.

Looks like they are doing interesting things to "my Impiltur".

As an aside, would people be interested in a 4E 'Cormyr-style' article on the DDI on Impiltur?

Well, I was going to say 'Hell yeah George!'. But then you already did such a fantastic job on Impiltur in Dragon. I'd much rather see you put your inimitable talents toward another nation in the Demonlands. Narfell, perhaps?

@GK
How about an article updating the entirety of the 'Easting Reach' - Impiltur, Thesk, and the Great Dale (along with a little touch of the old Nar Kingdom, as Brian has suggested)? Your previous article on Impiltur covered much of the history, and wasn't really all that long ago (in RW time), so I thnk a broader-scope for the region may be in order.

I think the only way the 4e Realms will rock is if loremasters like Brian and yourself help flesh it out. I've even got a few article ideas of my own, now that Brian's has given me some inspiration...

All of that seems like a good idea but I'll have to wait till next month to see what has happened to the region in the FRCG and whether that gets the creative juices flowing.

Definitely looking forward to seeing the Genasi and Swordmages in action. I'm a bit curious about Backgrounds, though. Is this just for LFR regions, or will all regions provide a bsckground bonus (with just these 12 appearing so that LFR players can get a headstart on their characters)?

I remember to have read that all regions will have benefits, Venger. So, I supose that this will work to all regions.

Krashos, wherever you bring about Impiltur and the Demonlands is very welcome.

Dwarf, DM, husband, and proud of this! :P

Instead of making a new topic, I'm reviving this one to say that the RPGA FR guidelines have been revised.

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/news/20081023

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird
