It was good to see Berun make a clean getaway with a little help from some 8 legged friends. The only mistake he made was not killing Sauk and his men, but as he is not a killer anymore this fits what you would expect from him. I was leary at first when it was revealed Sauk had a Steppe tiger as a companion, but so far the cat is not dominating the action. It would be very easy to relax as a writer and let such a powerful ally guide the story. |

Oh well ,so much for a clean getaway!!! Berun is now gona and Lewan an honored guest of Talieth at Sentinenspire. What a turn of events. As mas as Takki losing an made Sauk, he must be scared as hell of Talieth not to have killed Lewan. And I am not sure to think of what happened to Berun. Somekind of earth elemental rising up and swallowing him and all. Was it his master, who even though is imprisoned in Sentinelspire, trying to save him by spiriting him away? Or was it The Old Man using the old druids powers to remove one of his daughters playing pieces from the board? |
