I´m going to be taking my low level party (5 PCs level 3) overland from Eveningstar to Shadowdale (to play the Shadowdale adv) through Arabel and Tilverton, and I would like the party to have brushes with the Zhentarim. Has anyone developed or does anyone know of agents of the Black Network in these cities or along this route?

The wizardly agents in and near Tilverton are mentioned in Ed's second Knights novel, SWORDS OF DRAGONFIRE. I'm not sure how much of Ed's detailed, ground-level Zhent lore for these areas has been published, other than that. Must go check . . .

Many thanks, THO. I'll pick up "Swords of Dragonfire" if I can find a copy. This is excellent timing as I've just finished the first in that series, before which I hadn't read any of the FR novels. I have a lot of catching up to do. I really do appreciate the help. My FR knowledge is pretty superficial at this point.
Cheers,
Afet

That novel, by the way, is a great read--good for good old fashioned Realms entertainment as well as lore.

"Instead of asking why we sleep, it might make sense to ask why we wake. Perchance we live to dream. From that perspective, the sea of troubles we navigate in the workaday world might be the price we pay for admission to another night in the world of dreams."
