I believe these are correct; DDP hasn't released the numbers for the third trade yet.
Thanks for that list. I now know I bought the right vol. 1 and that the right vol. 2 is on my wishlist to purchase as soon as my local internet based supplier can get stock. |

OK, I am completely confused about this comic series. I have read that RAS's short story "Guenhwyvar" was supposed to receive comic adaptation in one of the issues, but I cannot identify which one.
<This> said that it was Issue #6. But I got Issue #6, and it ain't in there.
<This> said that it was available in the collected Volume #3 (now out of print and hard to find), which would seem to indicate that the comic must've originally appeared in Issues #6, 7, or 8. Again, I have Issue #7, and it ain't in there, either.
So was there ever an Issue #8, and was "Guenhwyvar" in there?
Anybody know how I can track down a copy? |

The story was originally slated to appear in issue #6. A cover was completed. I don't know if the script or the interior art got past the planning stage. The story was eventually shifted from #6 to #8 because of these scheduling problems. And then issue #8 was never released because DDP and Hasbro ended the license, so whatever work was underway on the story was stopped.
So there was an issue #6, but the story you're after was not in it. And trade volume 3 was never released because issue #8 never came out, and they would have needed the content of that issue to fill the trade out to the target length.
You can see all the covers for the issues that were released here: http://www.comicvine.com/worlds-of-dungeons-and-dragons/49-22262/ And you can click through on the covers to see what appeared in each issue.
Hope that helps. |

| Aha, that's what I was afraid of. It would be nice if the crumbs that are still out there on the 'net about these issues would be updated accordingly. I know I saw some early work for the "Guen" adaptation that looked great, so I'm sorry that it never actually was printed. Now I know not to keep pursuing it. |
